Buenos Aires Accommodation
Baucis Palermo Boutique Hotel
Location & Map
Palermo is the largest residential area in all of Buenos Aires, and Palermo Hollywood (where television stations and advertising agencies are situated) is where celebrities hang out for drinks or dinner in its pubs, bars and bistros. Palermo is the destination most travelers seek. It is the kind of neighborhood where you walk around bustling streets and can meander in and out of boutique stores, stylish restaurants, alternative theatres and chic cafes...the true porteño character.

Getting there
- From the international airport (Ezeiza): a 40-minute drive, approximately AR$120 taxi fare
- From the domestic airport (Jorge Newberry): a 15-minute drive, approximately AR$40 taxi fare
- Buquebus Ferry Terminal a 15 minute drive, approximately AR$25 taxi fare
- From Retiro (the main bus terminal) it is a 10-minute drive, approximately AR$20 taxi fare.
We recommend guests take a taxi when first arriving to the city rather than trying the public transportation systems. The buses can be difficult to navigate for a new comer and the metro system tends to be crowded, especially when travelling with luggage.
By law, all taxis in Buenos Aires must use their meter. Meters start at AR$4.60. Although it is generally safe to hail a taxi on the street, it is advisable to call a reputable company, such as Premium Taxi (5238 0000).
