Buenos Aires Accommodation Bohemia Location & Map

Bohemia

Located in the bohemian area of San Telmo, on Perú Street and Avenue Independencia, Bohemia Buenos Aires has quick access to the international airport and the main attractions of the city.

After crossing Avenida Rivadavia, Perú Street becomes Florida Street - the long pedestrian street that connects Avenida de Mayo to Plaza San Martin. A few metres away is Plaza Dorrego, the very heart of San Telmo where many bars and coffee shops have tables on the sidewalks and plaza, ideal for relaxing and for getting a glimpse of the neighbourhood.

Getting there (local language)

Getting there

From the airport, travellers can hire an Airport bus, a taxi or a Remis (private car with driver) to get to the hotel. Due to the heavy traffic in Buenos Aires, rental cars are not recommended. The hotel also offers pick-up transportation service from the airport at a very reasonable fare. For those who arrive in Buenos Aires on Cruise Ships, the options are the same as above.

  • From the international airport (Ezeiza), it is a 35-minute drive
  • From the domestic airport (Jorge Newberry), it is a 20-minute drive
  • 5 blocks from the subway Line E train line
  • 4 blocks from Avenue 9 de Julio and countless bus lines travelling around the city

We recommend guests take a taxi when first arriving to the city rather than trying the public transportation systems. The buses can be difficult to navigate for a new comer and the metro system tends to be crowded, especially when travelling with luggage.

By law, all taxis in Buenos Aires must use their meter. Meters start at AR$4.60. Although it is generally safe to hail a taxi on the street, it is advisable to call a reputable company, such as Premium Taxi (5238 0000).
