Buenos Aires Walking Tour

Our walking tour of Buenos Aires starts at Plaza de Mayo, the city's first Plaza and original meeting place. Your knowledgeable guide will point out the historic buildings that surround the Plaza, including the Cathedral, Government House and Cabildo.

Following the 25 de Mayo Avenue, we walk past Cafe Tortoni, one of the city's most famous coffee shops. With time to view the interior and possibly taste test the specialty of churros (similar to donuts) and then we will continue our walk up 25 de Mayo.

On our way to the Congress building, we will stop for views of the Obelisk, 9 de Julio Avenue and look up at the ornate decoration of some of the inner city buildings.

Upon arrival at Congress Plaza, we will head underground and journey back to the tour starting point on a section of the oldest subway line in the southern hemisphere.
