We meet at the Retiro train station to board the local train to Tigre. A short walk from Tigre train station takes us to the river. We take a boat to one of the small islands where our kayaks will be waiting. After a brief safety lesson and instructions on paddling technique we start the journey.
For the next few hours, we paddle through the labyrinth of small rivers within the delta. Travelling with little noise we can get up close to the local wildlife as we explore the maze of waterways and islands.
On return to the island, a traditional asado (BBQ) will be prepared. Sit back in the lush gardens, relax and enjoy the tranquility of Tigre.
At the end of the afternoon, we head back to the train station and to Buenos Aires.
