This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.

Reduce child poverty and encourage local/traditional culture
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
* We work with Voluntario Global (http://www.voluntarioglobal.com.ar/). We give clothes in need of laundering to them and they give it to people of lower resources that are starting their own laundry room. That way, they have more work (and get more money) and we can give our guests laundry services: we both win.
* Environment: we decided not to sell water bottles in the bar, so we don't have plastic bottles wasted. Instead, we use sparkling water.
* When out guests leave clothes in the hostel, we give them to Voluntario Global, so they can distribute them to people that need them.
* We have been collecting caps to give them to the Garrahan Hospital, where they can exchange them for wheelchairs.
