Recoleta is the home of a famous cemetery and travellers can simply walk around the neighbourhood for hours with all the magnificent and luxurious buildings.

This area also houses many of the important universities, along with plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and great shopping options.

Sudamerika Hostel & Suites Recoleta is located 50 minutes from the International Airport Ministro Pistarini and 20 minutes from the domestic airport Jorge Newbery.

Many local buses travel along the area letting you reach the whole city. Local buses lines: 10, 12, 17, 39, 59, 60, 64,101, 152 and many others.

The subway line D gets you close to the hostel: Pueyrredon station or Facultad de Medicina is just 4 blocks and a half away. This connects you with all the subway networks and can take you to the Retiro train station, the Retiro long-distance bus station or the Constitucion train station. The same subway line also leads you from the south (Plaza de Mayo) to the north part of the city.

We recommend for new comers to take a taxi to the accommodation when first arriving, as the public transportation can be complicated with luggage. The taxis are generally reliable in town and run on meters.
